The European Central Bank kept interest
rates unchanged this morning citing concerns on inflation and the need
to allow economic recoveries to take root and not rush into action. US
initial jobless and continuing claims data for the week
came in better than expected at 365k and 3276k respectively. US ISM
data came in weaker than expected at 53.5. The downward trend in silver
and platinum continues as silver is trying to hold $30 and platinum
broke below $1550. The trade this week continues
be bluish dollar and US Large Cap Equities. Trading volumes continue to
be anemic for the precious metals as funds and investors sit on the sidelines waiting for more economic data.
