With little news out this morning the
precious metal began to drift lower. Existing Home Sale came out better
than expected and added more fuel to this action. However the market
remains more on the sidelines awaiting the FOMC decision this afternoon.
Meanwhile in an IMF report there appears to be serious concern that
China’s economy is starting to show signs of stress and that the
government will need to increase tightening to prevent any banking
crisis. If this comes to fruition though it will at first be a bullish
signal for gold, due to the uncertainty. The rest of the group due to
their basic fundamentals may suffer price deterioration increasing the
distance and between themselves and the leader.
