More instability in the Europe continues to support the gold drive higher as the Italian bonds trade 8%. Money keeps moving into US Treasuries over the German Bund as many fear danger from the contagion. Rumors that the European bonds may be downgraded has created more demand for the safe haven assets. Gold ETF ended last week up strong as silver lost ground. The disparity between gold and silver continues as investors turn more to the yellow metal. Tensions increase as Afghan and NATO forces were fired upon from two Pakistani army bases which drew a counterstrike which took the lives of 24 Pakistani soldiers, this increases more demand for safe haven buying. Back firmly in bull territory the precious metals hope not to look back again.
